Perry Township had a very special visitor recently, Jack Knight, “the singing patriot” stopped by to visit with Fire Chief Bob Phillips.
Since 911 Jack has drove across the U.S. from Los Angeles to New York every year stopping at first responders stations and signing them the song he wrote, “A hero in my eyes”. Mr. Knight and Operation Gratitude send out care packages to first responders. He stopped at our station September 8, 2017.
